The Board serves nine (9) municipalities in Essex County from Windsor to Leamington including fifty-three (53) elementary and fourteen (14) secondary schools with an enrolment of approximately 35,000 students. Note that Pelee Island Public School is not included in this Proposal. The PTSA provides support and assistance to students during lunchtime and nutritional break activities. They will oversee students in a variety of settings including the classroom, lunch area, and outside play areas (indoor play areas in inclement weather). Under the direction of the Principal and/or designate, the PTSA may be required to use a variety of indoor and outdoor games and activities together with effective strategies to help provide quality support to students during the lunch period and/or nutritional breaks. |
